PGT Limited a company limited by guarantee, was established for the purpose of acquiring and then maintaining in perpetuity an area of open parkland and recreational ground in the parishes of Appleton and Stretton within the Pewterspear Green residential area of South Warrington located east of the A49 one mile north of the M56 junction 10.

The parkland area managed by the Company measures some 18.2 hectares in total and includes also junior soccer pitches, a high quality cricket square and pavilion.

Maintenance of the area is funded by an endowment from English Partnerships managed in a Charitable Trust-Pewterspear Green Trust registered number 702068- by the members of the Board of PGT Limited who are Trustees of the charity.
